Under the Authority section of the IAC,  it spells out its dual reporting process. Whist the reporting to the Board is clear, does the IAC specifies the IAA “admin reporting” to the Senior Management?

    Hello, Richard Chung,

Yes, the Charter should specify the administrative reporting line as well. This is from the Sample Charter:

    Authority

The chief audit executive will report functionally to the board and administratively (i.e., day-to-day operations) to the chief executive officer.

Obviously, if they report to someone other than the CEO, that would be stated in the Charter, but the Sample Charter has them reporting to the CEO administratively.
