Downloaded (Paperless) Study Materials

For completely GREEN studying, all of our materials are available to download to your computer in just minutes. If you come across some information that you would like to have in hard copy, you can easily print just a few pages.

Environmentally Responsible Printed Materials

Our color textbooks are both attractive and printed using the most environmentally responsible printing technology available. Exclusively from Xerox, Solid Ink technology offers the following GREEN benefits:

Less waste: there are no toner cartridges or ink tanks to dispose of or recycle.
Less packaging: solid ink packaging is dramatically smaller (up to 90%) than toner or ink packaging.
Fewer CO₂ emissions: with smaller, lighter packages, solid ink can be shipped very efficiently.
Non-toxic: solid ink is safe to handle, even by small children.
Energy efficient: less energy is used to manufacture solid ink.

All of these environmental benefits come without sacrificing print quality. The quality of our textbooks has never been higher with incredibly sharp, black text and smooth, even coloring on every page.

Packing & Shipping

Our printed materials are shipped worldwide and we are constantly striving to reduce, re-use and recycle packaging.

Reduce: We aim to use the smallest appropriate box or envelope for every shipment, and the least padding for adequate protection.
Re-use: Whenever possible, we re-use packing materials that we have received, and we encourage you to do the same.
Recycle: If you cannot re-use the packing materials that you receive, we encourage you to recycle them. All of our USPS-provided supplies are Cradle to Cradle certified for their recyclability.

No CDs

Unlike many companies that sell software, HOCK international does not use CDs for the distribution. CDs can quickly become out of date, while electronic downloads provide a fast, GREEN way to instantly deliver up-to-date materials worldwide.

CDs are also difficult to recycle because they contain a mixture of plastics, metals and dyes. After being thrown away, these petroleum and metal products can pollute the environment and groundwater.

HOCK is the first and only company providing CMA Materials, CIA Materials and CPA Materials in PDF for use on the iPad and other mobile devices.
