For the month of July, HOCK international announced that we would be donating 5% of revenue to support Red Cross relief efforts within the United States and internationally. 5% of the revenue from orders placed in the United States would be donated to the Red Cross Disaster Relief for Countless Crises fund, which provides support to communities affected by Tornadoes, Spring Floods, Wildfires, etc. and 5% of the revenue from orders placed outside of the United States would be directed to the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami relief fund. We also announced that our sister company HOCK Training in Moscow would be donating 5% of July revenue in continued support of Nastenka (www.nastenka.ru), a charitable foundation helping children with cancer.
HOCK is pleased to announce that our total worldwide July contributions exceeded $13,500. We would like to extend a big "Thank You" to everyone who placed an order in July and participated in this month-long event. Your order helped make a difference in the world.
All HOCK offices worldwide, including our sister offices of HOCK Training in Moscow, Almaty, Kiev and Minsk, donate at least 10% of profits to local charities selected by each office. Founder Brian Hock says simply, "Helping others is part of who we are, and will always be, as a company."
In the United States, HOCK international is pleased to announce that we are supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio (www.rmhc-centralohio.org) with donations to their capital projects fund in 2010 and 2011. Since 1982, the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, Ohio, has been serving families in Central Ohio and from around the world by providing the basic needs of food and housing for families of seriously ill children staying and receiving treatment in local hospitals. The House is the 2nd largest in the world with 80 guest rooms and provides stays for families tallying over 20,000 nights per year. Worldwide, there are over 300 Houses providing millions of nights of comfortable rest for families in their time of need.
There are many ways to support the Ronald McDonald House besides financial contributions. Volunteers are the heart of any Ronald McDonald House, and can offer services ranging from hospitality, to cooking and cleaning, to handymen (and women) providing minor repairs. Many Ronald McDonald Houses have Vehicle Donation programs. Pop tab collecting is easy to do at school, at work or at home, and collected tabs can be taken to any McDonald's. Many Houses raise thousands of dollars a year from pop tabs alone. Any one of these many ways to contribute will help.

I just wanted to let you know that I passed the CIA Part 2 exam on my first try! I am super excited because I feel like HOCK has really prepared me for the Part 1 and 2 exams. I recommend the HOCK program hands down - the other programs are not robust enough where I feel comfortable with the material.
